You are my last hope for freedom.
I never thought this prosecution would be at this point. I am at
the end of my rope and you are my last hope for freedom.
I thought Karl Rove’s involvement and the fact that my
prosecutor’s husband was running my opponent’s campaign
would have ended this.
60 Minutes, the New York Times, Time Magazine, Harper’s, two
Congressional investigations, 113 former state Attorneys
General and top Constitutional Law Professors and Pulitzer
Prize winning journalist, George Will all have argued that my
prosecution is legally flawed – the courts have disagreed.
I have nowhere else to turn to for my freedom but you.
My daughter, Dana, has created an online Petition to the
President. Please sign the Petition for Freedom.
Ask your friends and family to sign. Ask just one person (or
more) a day to sign and we will reach our goal. Ask them to post
a request on Facebook and Twitter.
If enough people express their concern over this I won’t stay in
prison… the President will listen.

to the President to "Pardon Governor Don Siegelman" The American Trial Lawyer Magazine called Don Siegelman “America's #1 Political Prisoner." In Jack Abramoff’s book, Capitol Punishment: The Hard Truth About Washington Corruption From America's Most Notorious Lobbyist, he admits that one of his top priorities was “stopping Don Siegelman.” Don Siegelman said in 2007 at his first sentencing; “ If this ruling stands....a rogue Justice Department can prosecute contributors and elected officials they simply do not like." Please petition the President of the United States for clemency in Governor Siegelman's case by signing the petition on Change.org and posting this message publicly however you can. By doing so we may one day clarify the law and keep our democracy and freedom intact. Our goal is to have 50,000 signatures by Nov. 6 , election day.
