1. Attorneys For Don Siegelman Request Re-
Sentencing Delay
Associated Press for NBC13.com
Siegelman’s attorneys on Monday filed a motion for a delay with the
11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which upheld five and threw out
two of the charges he was convicted of in a corruption case.
Siegelman’s chief attorney, Vince Kilborn, said he wants the appellate
court to wait until the U.S. Supreme Court decides if it will consider
Siegelman’s appeal.
Siegelman has been out of federal prison on an appeal bond for more
than a year. By granting the motion, the 11th Circuit would allow him
to remain out of prison until the Supreme Court acts.

2. Media Advisory - Newsmaker conference
call on Don Siegelman Case
by Andrew Kreig of Eagle View Capital Strategies
A Missouri attorney who retains a passion for justice after 28 years of
experience will speak by tele-conference Monday, May 18, about his
evidence that could win a new trial for former Alabama Gov. Don
Siegelman. Paul B. Weeks will describe why Siegelman’s seven-year
prison sentence in 2007 for corruption convictions should be
overturned in what was already one of the decade’s most
controversial U.S. criminal cases.
This conference call amplifies a news story published today on the
Huffington Post based on five-months research by Andrew Kreig, a
longtime Washington-based attorney, business executive and
commentator.
